Guidehouse Launches FTA Operation to Support SBA’s Largest Lending Program
WASHINGTON, August 30, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Guidehouse, one of the world’s leading providers of advisory services to the public sector and business clients, announced that effective today it has started operating as a transfer agent tax (FTA) on behalf of the US Small Business Administration (SBA) 7 (a) Loan and Secondary Market Program.
Guidehouse, in a joint business relationship with Wells Fargo, Information Analysis Incorporated (IAI), Select Computing, Inc. and LeapPoint, was engaged to operate and modernize the business processes and technology platform supporting the flagship loan program of the agency.
After more than a year of migrating from the FTA program to SBA, Guidehouse will provide loan management, technology modernization and financial services for the SBA loan programs, which now have more than 7,500 lenders and nearly a trillion in assets.
