Guidehouse to support the SBA loan program as a tax transfer agent; Scott McIntyre quoted
Guidehouse has assumed responsibilities as a tax transfer agent on behalf of the Small Business Administration’s 7 (a) Loan Program and the Secondary Market to provide financial loans to small businesses.
Following the transfer of the FTA program to the SBA, the consulting firm will now provide lending and financial services and update technologies in support of the SBA’s lending initiatives, Guidehouse said on Monday.
Guidehouse has entered into a business partnership with Wells Fargo, Information Analysis Inc., Select Computing and LeapPoint to strengthen the business strategies and technology tools of the SBA 7 (a) program.
With the help of its partners, Guidehouse will leverage the SBA’s combined experience, federal loan program credentials, enterprise architecture expertise, and extensive technological advancements to support the financial initiatives of the ‘agency.
“Having supported the SBA’s Access to Capital Office for nearly a decade, Guidehouse is honored to have been selected to execute a unique system, process and technology transformation,” said Scott McIntyre, CEO by Guidehouse and winner of the 2021 Wash100 Award.
The consulting firm said it plans to establish the SBA’s flagship and secondary market program as the standard in the conduct of government-wide federal credit programs.
